This MyVideoTalk review is going to be quite different than my normal “Brutally Honest” reviews. I’ve been marketing online for a few years now and have seen many companies and products come and go. I usually just mind my own business and ignore all the hyped-up MLM junk that floods into my mailbox but, when I first saw MyVideoTalk I couldn’t help but say “WOOOW” and pay attention…

Here Are 5 Commonly Made Mistakes, Traps, & Pitfalls You Should Avoid If  You Are Thinking Of Marketing Your MLM Business Online.  I’ve made these mistakes already so you don’t have to…

1. Trying Focus On Too Many Internet Marketing Strategies At Once With No Clear Cut Direction

When starting to market online there are lots of things you can do to market your business.  All of which can be very useful in getting you the type of resultsyou want in your business. The thing to remember here is that you have to hone in on one marketing strategy and or techniques until you have it figured out and start seeing results from it.  Once you see results do more of it then move to on to something else but don’t stop doing what’s working for you.

2. Not Having A Mentor Or Mastermind Group

This is so crucial in your learning curve.  When I first started I thought that internet marketing was something I could on my own and just “figure it out”.  Well boy did I “figure it out”.  Now because I spent endless night implementing and studying the guru strategies it didn’t take me as long as most. With that being said I spent a lot of money to acquire the knowledge that only if I had a mentor or a group of individuals I could bounce ideas with I would have had to go thru a lot of my frustration.

Sometimes just having a group of individuals there to let you know you aren’t crazy can keep you from throwing in the towel.  I’m serious guys, if you are going at it alone right now, find a team, a mentor, someone that has gotten results and can show you what you need to do to get those same types of results.  But here’s your disclaimer; you are the only one responsible for you success.

Remember you are the blame for you success and failures.  Not your mentors, your team, your upline, or your sponsor.  Remember that and start taking ownership of your life.

3. Trying to Be the Guru

This one is funny! I’m just going to keep this one short and sweet.  Just be yourself.  You don’t have to act like someone you are not.  If you have done it and achieved it then you have the right to speak on it. But if you have not then don’t.

People can see thru the guru wannabees.  Guru status comes by doing the daily consistent and persistent activities for long enough that get you results.  People start to respect you and look to you for guidance.  Then over time by helping enough people you become that person who people consider a guru.

4. You Are Subscribed To Too Many Peoples List

It makes it extremely hard to focus on getting one project or strategy mastered if you are being blasted 5 times a day with the newest, latest and greatest, internet marketing product or secret.  If you are a person that easily looses focus you will go crazy trying to get anything done.  We internet marketers write some very compelling email and internet copy that will totally get you off focus of the task at hand.  We do it on purpose.  We are marketers guys we specialize in getting your attention.  Oh and don’t get me wrong.  I’m not saying that there isn’t value in the emails, and blog updates that you read.  But what’s the purpose of reading and hearing about all these strategies, techniques, products, and tools if you cant focus long enough to get any of them into implementation.

Here is the solution.  Find two or three proven leaders that have gotten the results you want, do exactly what they tell you to do, and then opt out of everybody else’s list simple as that.  This will save you a lot of frustration and the symptoms of information overload that most new internet marketers go thru.

5 Becoming Overwhelmed By The Big Picture And Not Focusing What You Can Do Right Now.

This pitfall can be very easy to fall into.  Here a common scenario, you’re just getting started with your new online business or internet marketing program and all seems great.  Then you start to think about all the things you need to do in order to go and make it happen, to reach your ultimate goal.  Allthethings you have to learn.  All the task you task to complete.  The next thing you know so much anxiety has built up that you don’t know where to begin.  So you don’t begin and now you’ve stolen your own dream.  Don’t fall into this trap.

Focus on the little things you can do this week, today, right now.  You don’t just build a wall by thinking about building it.  You build it brick by brick until its finished.  Start laying your bricks and soon you will have your wall built.

Is ground marketing worth the effort.

If done correctly it can be the fastest way to sponsoring people and growing your business.  If not done incorrectly can be a total waste of time.

The most common question that people ask me when they find out I am a successful ground marketer is do you have a copy of the flyer that you use.

Ground marketing takes different techniques for every area that you approach.  A certain flyer in one area may not necessarily work in another.  If you put up a flier offering a great job opportunity in very wealthy area it will be a total waste of your time.

A successful ground marketing campaign takes planning, homework and knowledge of the area and is a game of trial and error.

It’s amazing how a simple change of a few words, color or if the flier is artfully printed can make all the difference in the world… and mean the difference in total failure or success.

To begin with you must determine the economy, mentality, desire, drive, and any other attribute of the area to determine your advertising.

• Is it a wealthy area where people aren’t looking for a second income but will be excited about having a way to leverage their taxes or have your product or service delivered right to their door?
• Is it an area that people could use an extra income?
• Is it an area of stay at home mom’s with extra time during the day to fill that would be interested in filling it with your product, service or education?

And for what reason?

1. The Product?
2. Extra income?
3. Extra knowledge?
4. Or just something to do.

ALWAYS TEAR OFF A FEW TABS

When people see that some of the tabs are removed it gives them a sense of urgency to see what others have found interest in that they may miss out on….. very important!

I personally laminate all of my fliers so that they stay decent. I make the tear off tabs in a way that they can be removed easily.  The lamination makes it easy to neatly tear away the tabs against the laminated flier. When all the tabs are tore off I simply tape another row of tear away tabs on.

They look great and I don’t need to replace the entire flier every time…….

When putting out fliers, try to put them in places where you can ask for permission from the owners. That way when they ask you what it is – it gives you the opportunity to show your opportunity to another person.

Hey internet land… there are a few things I wanted to share today and Im so glad there is a forum called the internet to share these thoughts with you. As I was studying some information last night, a few things came to mind that definitely bared some talking about. I have watched and continue to follow some great people online in internet marketing that are doing some amazing things. People like Deagan Smith, Nathan Lumpkin, Jonathan Budd, Mike Dillard, Mark Hoverson, Ankur Anguwal, Frank Kern, Mike Filsame, Ryan Deiss and the list goes on. However, there is 1 constant that I see among all these great leaders…

THEY MAKE A TON OF MONEY AND GET RESULTS!

Now when I say they make a ton, I mean they are just absolutely crushing it. And regardless, REGARDLESS, of how you feel personally about any of them, you can’t deny their results. Not only can you not deny the results, you can’t deny the next statement either…

They ALL have multiple income streams…

Absolutely, every single one of them has multiple income streams. To put all of your eggs in 1 basket in 2010 with the economy with people needing to make money RIGHT NOW is like committing financial suicide, literally. Now what’s so funny about this, is that from time to time people ask me why do I promote different products. I must admit, that question is truly, truly hilarious. Let’s see… How many people question Mike Dillard when he has multiple products? How many people question Jonathan Budd when he makes millions every year and has numerous product launches? How many people questioned Nathan lumpkin when he gets over 2k leads in a day somedays and promotes different things to those people? How many people question Ryan Deiss when he promotes something new and innovative 2-3 times per month and makes 8 figures per year doing it?

Do you get emotional about reality or do you accept it?

You see, reality is reality. Reality is, you have a mortgage payment, who’s name is it in? Reality is, you have a car note, who has to pay the bill? Reality is, you have kids, who has to feed them? Reality is, your bank account is dependent upon your actions, now isn’t it? There are going to be people that will talk about you when you promote 1 product and company, and there will be people who will talk about you when you promote multiple. But here’s one thing I can assure you… As people are talking about Nathan, he’s making 8 figures. While people are talking about Jonathan, he’s making 8 figures. While people are talking about Mike Dillard, he’s making 8 figures. While people are talking about Daegan… well, I don’t even need to finish the sentence about Deagan!  Just look at the picture below!!

Now what does that picture tell you??

Well, where I come from it says loud and clear MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME. Now, Im sure a few people had some things to say about Deagan getting over 50 checks from numerous different places. On the same token, while they are talking, he’s cashing 50 plus checks!! The leaders that I mentioned above understand why they are in this game… It’s called profit!!!

They got into internet marketing and network marketing to profit, period, space, space. So do you get mad when people profit?? What for, it’s a waste of time. If you didn’t want to profit you can join a knitting club at meetup.com and learn how to knit. If you wanted a bunch of friends, you can join the YMCA for $30 bucks per month, (cheaper than your autoship) and gain a bunch of friends. But you didn’t do that, you joined this industry so capitalize on it while you can.

Ignore and laugh at the haters… JUST CASH YOUR CHECKS!!!

That’s my motto ladies and gentlemen. Ignore and laugh at the haters, all the while keep cashing checks. Keep your eyes on the end result and success will follow. If you want to make $50k per month, it may take more than 1 source. If you want to make $10k per month, it may take more than 1 source. If you want to make $1k per month, you  can probably do THAT with 1 source!

Just DON’T forget why you are doing this and ignore the people who just love to drink hatorade. Even with inflation and the price of goods skyrocketing, and for some reason hatorade is pretty cheap these days (around .10 per 2 liter.) At that price, quite a few people can get some.

Get The Video Tutorial Here – How To QUADRUPLE Your Lead Generation In 9 Easy Steps!

Last week I released my Secret Video Marketing Course that I used to replace my income in just 3 weeks in network marketing. 3. Put it on video. Video is the most powerful way to brand yourself as an expert. People can get to know you and will begin to trust you when you use video in your business. Using video also makes your leads feel like they are getting a real “free gift” as opposed to sending them text email.

4. Put it in a video email. You don’t nee to be able to write great copy to get people to click on your link in your email – you can just put your video RIGHT IN the email. Talk about attention grabbing! Not only can you deliver your video straight to their inbox, but you can brand your email with your banner, logo, photo etc and make them all click back to your website or affiliate sites. 5. Put your video emails into your autoresponder set at 1 day apart each.

6. Create a pop up opt in form on your website to appear 1x per day, per visitor. I find this is easiest in Aweber.

7. Promote Your Course. I got 4 times as many leads as usual in one day when I released my video marketing strategy. Make sure you do a blog post to announce your course and share it on Facebook, Twitter etc. Tell your story and what your course can do for others and their business.

8. Continue to build a relationship with your leads. Find them on Facebook, call them up, email them…whatever. Just make sure to personally connect with as many people as possible every day so that they get to know you.

Hello everyone out in internet land!  I recently heard MyVideo Talk is just one big scam and they would like nothing more than to take all of your money and stomp your face into the ground!

 Now exactly how accurate are these rumors? You’re about to find out!

First off, no I’m not currently involved in My Video Talk, but I mean I still like to get my hands dirty when I’m reviewing companies, so what I just did was call up a member of MyVideoTalk; a Mr. Nathan Lumpkin and got the inside scoop on this company.

Go ahead and grab a nice cold cola and maybe some nachos because we’re about to dig in!

I know the only thing you’re concerned with is whether or not MyVideoTalk is just another one of those “pyramid schemes”.

I’d just like to say first of all that I hate the term “pyramid scheme”. The majority of people that use it don’t even know what it means. They think all network marketing companies are pyramid schemes without ever realizing that real illegal companies are shut down within WEEKS of opening.

My Video Talk has been around internationally since 2002, so there’s really no shot of it getting shut down any time soon due to “scam” accusations.  They are also debt free and NEVER missed a payment to a represenative since they started!  Nathan said, “Wednesday is now my favorite day of the week due to MyVideoTalk. It’s the day the send out the checks each week!”

You have to realize that the only people that don’t get paid in network marketing are the people that don’t do the work. If you join MyVideoTalk you will get paid every single penny or dollar you deserve.

Take it from me, if you do the work that’s necessary in this opportunity or the majority of other opportunities for that matter…   you WILL make money!

More on that in just a minute.

 But first let’s look at the products MyVideoTalk offers.

Luckily for us, it doesn’t take much digging to figure out what they are. The name is super self-explanatory! Thank God, because I hate doing research! : ). The products offered are centered around video producing and marketing, which is actually a great idea.

 Here’s why.

As you can see the top 4 websites in the WORLD have video hosting of some kind. Well, Google and Yahoo aren’t known for their video marketing, but you can upload and watch videos on both of their websites.

Not only that, but if you look at the #3 ranking, which is YouTube, you’ll notice that it’s purely a video hosting website.

Just from that image alone you can tell that video marketing has grown exponentially over the past couple of years, and is continuing to expand daily.

So yeah… for those of you that aren’t catchin’ my drift, MyVideoTalk has a good product; I’d even say a border line GREAT product! And they have an entire suite of products – including broadcasting webinars to over 10,000 people in HD, sending video emails & even having your own TV channel!  Can somebody say start your own pay-per-view show? = )

Now let’s just take a quick look at the compensation plan. This is where most companies sadly fall flat on their face. They either have terrible comp plans or plans that flat out look suspicious to the FTC and cause them to get shut down prematurely.

However, MyVideoTalk doesn’t falter in this category whatsoever. It has a dual-core, double binary compensation plan.  Sounds funny but, it basically means that reps are making great money!  MyVideoTalk actually pays out 77% of their revenue back to their reps.  That 50 years old giant (A_WAY) pays out 33%… big difference, huh?

I’m not going to sit here and explain to you in the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of the comp plan because I really don’t think that’s important. Take my word for it – it’s good, and remember you don’t get paid just off of the volume in the binary comp plan obviously because it would take way too long for people to make any money and everyone would just quit before that ever happened. There are actually like 9 different ways to get paid including the fast start bonus and a couple other bonuses.

I don’t want to sound too ‘hypish’ about that. I mean the 9 ways to get paid sounds great but, most binaries are the exact same way… so you really can’t make your decision based on that alone.

That doesn’t mean it’s not good because really it is, just not “revolutionary” like some of the reps might make you believe.

All in all MyvideoTalk is a good looking company… to be honest one of the best companies that I’ve ever written a review about (and I have two other websites full of reviews!). If I didn’t have a company of my own (that I absolutely love), this is the company that I would join!

No hype, no BS, that’s the truth.
